Composition by Casper Zuidwijk. The visual spectacle Perfume (by Tom Tykwer) got me thinking about the use of colors throughout the time of the film. This composition shows a still of every 5 seconds in the film. The composition reads like a page from a book, looks like a magic carpet ride but actually tells you about the main characters journey. From the darkness of his birth, the struggle for recognition to the self-awarness of his death. The 2,5 hours film that constructed a story in my head is now beyond one image (frame or photo) but is a flowing motion of colors and details represented by these frames.
